Hello, Community friends!

This post explains the procedures of collecting the ‘Fault Info Collect’ log from the ONT via webGui / Telnet ONT. Please see the information displayed below.

BY TELNET TO ONT

Telnet to ONT at the local side with a tool, please record the logs.

Login: root;

Password: admin or adminHW.

WAP> collect debug infoWAP > collect debug info.

Note:

Please save all the session logs when starting to collect the log and wait until ‘End to collect’ is displayed after executing the ‘collect debug info’ command.

FROM WEB GUI OF THE ONT

Log in to WEB GUI and collect the fault info log as described below.

Click the System Tools tab and choose Fault Info Collect from the navigation tree on the left. In the right pane, click Start to collect ONT fault information, as shown below:

After the information has been collected, click Download to download the collected information to a local directory.

This would be the procedures of collecting the ‘Fault Info Collect’ log from the ONT via webGui / Telnet ONT.
