How can I collect Windows system logs?

Solution

You can use the following methods to collect system logs.

Method 1: Collect logs using Windows Event Viewer. The operations are as follows: Right-click My Computer and choose Manager. On the server management page, choose Event Viewer > Windows Logs.Right-click System and choose Save All Event As…. Save system logs as prompted. Collect application program logs and security logs in the same way.

Method 2: Copy the log path to collect system logs. Right-click the system log and choose Properties to open the Log Properties page.

Copy the log path to the address bar of the resource manager, and click Enter to open the file folder of logs. You can copy the log files.
