Collect the logs in the SE1000

Good day to you!

Today I will share with you how to collect the logs in the SE1000.

Usually we will need following information to troubleshoot the issue.

• Config Data
  

• User message trace
  

• Access IP trace
  

• Core IP trace
  

How to collect the config data.

1. Export config data.

   

   
   

2. Download to your local pc.

   

User Message trace

1. At left-bottom of LMT.
   

   

2. At left-top of LMT, left click “User Message Trace”，then input “ctrl+shift+F12” by keyboard.

   

3. Create user message trace and save to your local PC as below pic.

• Input !.*!138!.*! into IMPU textbox for tracing a user message. And user's number including 138.

• Please pay attention that you get "inter module" and "log" as below picture. Otherwise, repeat setp 2.

• Must click "Auto Save to File".

  

Access IP trace

1. Create access IP trace and save to local PC as below picture.

• Subrack No= 0
  

• Slot No = 1
  

• IP1, input access IP address configed on SE1000,  mask should be 255.255.255.255
  

• IP2, input IP as 0.0.0.0, mask should be 0.0.0.0
  

• IP dir choose BIDIRECTION
  

• Choose ICMP, UDP and TCP.
  

• Must click Auto Save to File

Core IP trace

Create core IP trace and save to local PC. As step Access IP trace, but IP1 should be core IP address configed on SE1000.
