This topic describes how to deal with the error that Codec CPU[x] host heartbeat.
When you encounter the following error in the logs 'Codec cpu[x] lost heartbeat', you need to proceed with an RMA because this is a hardware bug and it's affecting the user experience.
The Vicp core of the Netra series chip hangs with a very low probability. Hanging is caused by the high-frequency setting of the Netra chip (according to the value provided by TI 13 years); after the correction value provided by TI 15 years, the main frequency setting is lowered to solve the problem.
VPSS hangs this terminal from the log analysis:

Fault reason
Product hardware BUG, need to re-brush the program and this will lead to an RMA.
