When HPE Synergy is connected to the CE6881 switch via 40Gb QSFP+ DAC, interfaces do not up. Interfaces state - DOWN(Cable for stack or peer-link interface only)
In the "Configuration Guide - Interface Management" found: "CE6881, CE6820, and CE6863 support QSFP+ QSFP28 or high-speed cables only in stack or M-LAG scenarios. If these cables are used on interfaces of the switches in other scenarios, the interfaces will enter the Down (Cable for stack or peer-link interface only) state"
If instead of 40Gb QSFP+ DAC to use 40Gb QSFP+ AOC will work? This is a technical limitation or marketing? Why is there no information about this limitation in the Datasheet?
P.S. CE6855 has no such limitation and when HPE Synergy is connected to the CE6855 switch via 40Gb QSFP+ DAC, everything works.
