Hi, Community!

Have a nice day!

The customer needs to install CloudMCU with 10 Full HD concurrent license as well as SMC2.0 on two instances of a virtual machine. Since budget is limited, they would like to know the bare minimum hardware requirements needed for smooth operation.

CloudMCU - 10 ports FHD

SMC - max. 50 registered devices

SC-embedded.

Please help me!

thanks.

Hey @Alaa_M_M thanks for reaching to us. Below you can see the requirements:

CPU- minimum configuration would be 4-core x 2.2 GHz and the recommended one: RH2288H V3(2*E5-2618L V4, 10Core*2.2GHz)

Memory -minimum configuration would be [b2 GB/core, with the minimum memory not smaller than 20 GB. and the recommended one: The four memory channels of each CPU must be fully configured with memory modules. The 8 GB memory module is recommended. Therefore, the total memory is 64 GB (2*4*8 GB).

Hard disk - minimum configuration would be 100 GB and the recommended one: 600 GB, in RAID1 mode.

CloudMCU - minimum configuration would be 3-channel 1080p video and the recommended one: 20-channel 1080p video

As my colleague mentioned previously The CloudMCU must be independently installed on a server. It is recommended that overclock and hyper-threading configuration be enabled on the server where the CloudMCU is to be installed; otherwise, service performance may be affected. The model of the server is not limited.

As well, for more details please check the documentation he has earlier provided as it gives you much more details.

Cheers:)

Hello.

Please be informed that the CloudMCU needs to be installed separately on a server while the SMC2.0 , SC and EUA can be installed on the same server as per our CloudVC Product Documentation (Enterprise On-Premises). You can find in the link below the Installation procedure of the Cloud MCU and the minimum and recommended requirements of the server.

Thank you Mihnea, so technically they can use one server, to deploy CloudMCU/SMC/EUA but using above specs , however, its not recommended and performance is not guaranteed! right?

hey Alaa_M_M, as product documentatio states The CloudMCU must be independently installed on a server. therefore, we won't recommend to you to deploy all of them on the same server.
