CBR Policy

Policies are divided into backup policies and replication policies.

• Backup policies: To perform automatic backups, configure a backup policy by setting the execution time of backup tasks, backup cycle, and retention rules, and then bind a vault to the policy.

• Replication policies: To automatically replicate backups or vaults, configure a replication policy by setting the execution time of replication tasks, replication cycle, and retention rules, and then bind a vault to the policy. Replicas of backups must be stored in replication vaults.

You can easily back up on-premises VMware virtual environments and cloud-native servers, discs, and file systems using Cloud Backup and Recovery (CBR). You can restore resources to any point when the data is backed up if there is a virus intrusion, inadvertent deletion, or software/hardware problem.
