How to check Clock quality in SDH network?

The quality of clock synchronization must be measured by comparing the tester with an accurate external reference clock.
Supplementary knowledge: On an SDH network, the clock quality information is stored in the S1 byte. If clock protection is not enabled, the NE does not process the S1 byte. Therefore, the NMS may display that the clock quality is unavailable.
