Client trails deleted when performing a WDM Trail search

Latest reply: Mar 23, 2018 10:45:36 1137 3 0 0 0

Hi,

We recently upgraded to U2000 V200R016C50SPC201 and we realized that when we perform a WDM trail search on 1800V nodes client trails will be deleted and found by U2000 as unidirectional trails instead of bidirectional.

Does anyone have the same issues or have an idea what how this can be fixed?

P.S. : After some tests it appears that this issue affects only client trails that are connected in the middle using 2 client ports for example:

Client port on a LDX / LOM card <-WDM connection-> Client port on a LDX / LOM card <-optical patch-> Client port on a LDX / LOM card <-WDM connection-> Client port on a LDX / LOM card

Hi, AlexRotar
Generallly, the issue above you mentioned is caused by confiuraton issue. For example parity configuration
issue/fiber connetion issue and so on. pls check them and see if the issue is fixed. Hope the answer can give you some help~~~

Hi,

I've tried different ways of configuring the logical fibres in U2K, but the same result all the time :(
funny part is that this happens only when the client to client use 2 1800 (I, II or V) but if we have an 1800
client connected with an 1600 Client all is fine...

Hi, Please be sure that all fibers are created properly, WDM trails are searched out or created and that all the NEs on the trail communicate with each other properly.
