client side equipment tracing

Dear Friends,


Can you please guide me how i can trace physicaly connected clients With Huawei SDH throught NCE.I have the details of Huawei Node but the client side is required to be verified .

Hello.
Only if the client signal is SDH you can define the j0 which sent with the SDH frame .

- The user can write words in the j0 and check in the other side whether it is the same .
For example if BSC connected in STM level to SDH , the BSC can send j0 and check it in SDH to make sure that it is the same STM also SDH can send j0 (by default Huawei SBS) and BSC check it .

You can trace NE user operations through NE operation logs.

In the NE Explorer, choose Security > NE Operation Log from the navigation tree.

Transmission devices provide communication channels for networks and cannot identify client-side devices.

You can disable and enable the laser on a port on NCE to identify the client-side device to be connected.
Alternatively, shut down the customer device and view alarms on NCE. You can find NE-slot-port through alarms.
