If it is recommended to use modules of the same model, same manufacturer, and module parameters where the service is more important, the stability will be better.

Note: When a non-Huawei-made module is inserted into a Huawei device, some devices will generate a "non-Huawei certified module" alarm, but it does not affect the use.

If you want to use Cisco optical modules on Huawei OLT, some unknown problems may occur. It is not recommended that you use Cisco optical modules on Huawei OLT. 

It is recommended that you use Huawei-certified optical modules on the OLT.
