Circuit description not working with " - "

Hey Guys, 


Customer is choosing service port and then in configure extended properties in remote description he is trying to set description like "AstaNet-UPC#5269211001". And here is a problem because he cannot put name with dash “-“ which is necessary because it is standard for providing services to other provider and his provisioning system. Is there any way to wolkaround it and correctly put description with dash?

 

Frrom CLI it is possible:

service-port remote-desc 1130 description "AstaNet-UPC#5269211001"

 

However OLT doesn’t synchronise it with nce after manually configuration via CLI.

 

Problem is observed with MA5608

I queried the related commands. It may not be the "-" symbol. It may be the reason that you added the "" symbol to the command. See the following figure:

You can try to remove the non-appearance symbols listed in the notes from the command.
