Equipment in 'g' represents the gigabit port, while 'e' represents the fast export port. Many beginners are often mistaken that for the g port they can configure the address.


Only under the three layers of the port can the address be configurable. Use the command 'display IP interface brief' to query which port has three layers of the port.


For example: the gray background is the three layer-port, so the IP address can be configured.
