Task Description
Use a script to perform a health check on an NE. The health check result shows the problems (if any) that may affect the upgrade.
Precautions
The script is a zip file in the Attachment\NEHealthCheck folder, which will be executed on the U2000 or standalone DC.
The upgrade operation personnel must have the user permission of the debug level to perform the pre-upgrade check; otherwise, some check items will fail, causing low check efficiency.
If an error is displayed for the check item of querying the basic NE information in the health check result, run the script to perform the check again.
Operation Procedure
Step 1 Copy the Attachement/NEHealthCheck folder to the root directory of the PC where the U2000 server resides.
Step 2 Start the U2000 and choose Administration > NE Software Management > NE Data Backup/Restoration from the main menu.
Step 3 Select the desired NEs, right-click and choose New Task > Package Upgrade/Downgrade Task.
Step 4 In the Create Task [Package Upgrade] window, specify Task Name and click Query. When the query is complete, the NE Table area displays the selected NEs. Click Close in the Query Package Status dialog box. Click Next to proceed to the next step.
Step 5 Select the check box before Precheck only. Click Configure Precheck Items to configure the Precheck operation.
Step 6 In the Configure Precheck Operation dialog box, select the check box before Extended Check only. Then click 
next to the Clear button and select the desired zip file based on the upgrade target version which stored in the NEHealthCheck directory on the U2000 in Step 1. Click OK.
Step 7 In the Operation Configuration [Package Upgrade] window, click Next. In the displayed Confirmation [Package Upgrade] dialog box, click OK.
Step 8 The task is successfully created. In the NE Upgrade Task Management window, select the created task, right-click and choose Start Task.
Step 9 After the task is executed, select a desired NE, and click the link in the Details column to view the details in the health check report.
Right-click a task and choose Generate Extended Check Report to view all reports.
