Is there any other way to check remote interface (peer device) other than display lldp neighbor? I need to ensure that all cables installed are according to LLD.

Hello!

If you have eSight, you can enable the SNMP and check the topology management. At the basis, it also uses LLDP so this would be the solution in the end.

You can check with 'display lldp neighbor brief' and see faster how the remote/local interfaces are connected :)
