Hi friend,

You can configure it like this:

<HUAWEI> system-view

[HUAWEI] sftp client-source -a 10.1.1.1

Hi Jason!

Could you be so kind to explain what could that mean?

[master]sftp client-source -a 185.X.148.252
Error: This IP address does not exist at any Loopback interface.

Use the -a parameter to specify the source address of the local device, please use the address of the Loopback interface.

hello Hemin88!

Not really. I have 2 devices one with s5720ei-v200r010 (the advice worked well) and the second one with s5720ei-v200r007 where it doesn't. So that I decided to upgrade a firmware to V200R019 and trying to find out will it be with any downtime or not? Could you help me please?

If you are using your switches as stack, then there will be no outage by using smooth upgrade:
Please refer to this link:

https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/es/doc/EDOC1000178167/2d5a433/example-for-upgrading-a-stack-smooth-upgrade

If your switch is stand alone, there will be some outage, it is recommended that you do it at MW time or out of business hours.

Upgrading Using Command Lines:

1- Upload the prepared system software to the device.
2- Configure the uploaded system software as the next startup system software for the device.
<HUAWEI> startup system-software NEWSFT.cc
3- Restart the device to make the configured system software take effect.
<HUAWEI> reboot
4- After the device restarts, the new version is used. You can run the display version command to check the device version.

Upgrading the System Software Using the BootROM Menu:
