We want to do a change on WDM network architecture and switch it as below:

In our A-B-C-D-E ring, build on sites OADM, Huawei OSN8800, we would like to add a site terminal NEW.
Our central site is site A, where lambdas of sites B-C-D-E terminate and where we want that lambdas of site NEW to terminate as well.
Lambdas of site NEW to site B will be unprotected, will only go through site NEW - site B.
In site B, we want that lambdas of new site NEW to go through 2 paths Work & Protection in Ring, through a Protection board (QCP board).
Is it possible to be performed this protection of lambdas of site NEW, in a Protection board in site B?
If yes, lambdas of site NEW, will multiplexed in site NEW MUX, and will go into amplifiers to site B.
In site B the multiplexed signal should demultiplex in DEMUX(from site New) and then to pass lambdas in Protection board?
My question is regarding the connection on how this signal should come and go through to site B?
Should it come amplified in site B --> Demux (from site New) --> go to Protection Board--> then go into MUX to sites A & MUX Site C?
