Change Hilink to Modem

I have just acquired a Huwaei E3372 LTE Hilink device.

I would however like to use the device a a modem but I cannot seem to be able to make it work as a modem on Linux. I use all my devices as modems and would like to completely disable use of Hilink.

How can I achieve this?

This product is not enterprise product, we don't know how to change hilink,please contact local reseller.
