Today I want to share how you can get an IP without prior knowledge,
we were having an issue when installing ODU Eband and it had an old configuration, this ODU of a specific manufacturer that was not Huawei, the problem is that ODU has an old configuration and to install it you must know IP which was taken ,and therefore, the installation process fails because You don't know IP I searched for a way to solve this problem and came to a solution and I would like to share this solution with you, maybe someone needs it.
The solution is simple I used wireshark software which analyzes the Ethernet packet, this software can capture protocols like ARP and OSPF.
1-At first, you are not required to give your device any IP.
2- Open Wireshark program and select Local Area Connection.
3- After a few seconds the Ethernet packet analyzes will appear, you can searching by protocol if you are using dynamic routing search about OSPF if you are using static routing search about protocol ARP.
