HI

CAPWAP data and control packets are transmitted on different UDP ports and mostly ports are blocked in our office by IT Dept. How can we connect? can port be changed?

Hi BAZ,
CAPWAP control messages use UDP 5246 port, and data messages use UDP 5247 port. At the same time, these port numbers cannot be changed. It is recommended that you contact the IT department to release these port numbers.

Hello. CAPWAP UDP ports can not be changed by other numbers. They are hardcode so you have to use UDP port 5246 for management and UDP port 5247 for service data traffic.
