Issue Description
Device in DC2 normal but Device in DC1 Cant Backup Configuration On Esight:

Handling Process
1. Check the network between DC1 and eSight, normal;
2. Check the device in DC2 which can Backup Configuration normal, find that the version is new such as V8R8/V8R11:


3. Check the device in DC1 can’t backup success is old version such as V6/V1/V2:




4. Check new version NE such as V8 have new cipher and hmac ability which the eSight support like below:

5. Check old version NE such as V6 have only old cipher and hmac ability which the eSight not support like below:

6. The eSight product is a new Converged O&M Management Solution so need device for new version to match to use it.
Root Cause
Those devices can’t backup success on eSight is too old the version.
Solution
1. Upgrade those old version devices software;
2. Change those old NE to new devices;
Suggestions
1. If possible, suggest upgrade version the newest refer to the support;
2. Upgrade have risks because the version is too old, please create RFC for each device to verify the risks;
3. Devices in DC1 used for more than 10 years, suggest to replace to new NE.
