Cannot send an instant message to all participants during the conference

Description

The customer cannot send an instant message to all participants during the conference.

Analysis

1. Try to create a conference.

2. Try to send an instant message and broadcast it.

3. Set the endpoint to the chairman and try to send an instant message.

Solution

1. Set the TE30 to the chairman.
   

2. Log in to the SMC2.0.

3. Choose Conferences > Scheduled Conferences.

4. Choose the TE30, click T icon and choose Send IM.

   TE30 can send an instant message to all participants.
   

Root cause

The problem is caused by the participant's right. It must configure the participant as the chairman before having the right to broadcast the message.
