Cannot Port Forward on HG8145V5
Hi there.
I upgraded my Wi-Fi to fiber optic cable, then I got a Huawei router from ISP, which doesn't port forward.
What I tried:
Port mapping
Restarting router
Port trigger
A lot of tutorials
Turning on DMZ
Turning off firewall
But nothing worked.
This is what I did in port mapping:
I tested my Minecraft server with a friend but he couldn't join.
My isp is Telekom.

Hello, friend! Through analysis and confirmation: 1. Delete the configuration of the external source IP address in the red box in the following figure because NAT cannot be performed on the configuration and only the IP address can be accessed server.
2. Consider the new ONT, you need to check whether the IP address of the server is changed. 3. If your friend and you are not using the same ONT, the access permission of your friend's ONT may be restricted by the ISP. Thanks! |

Hello, You can set port forwarding on the WAN Configuration page. 1. In the navigation tree on the left, choose Forward Rules > Port Mapping Configuration. In the pane on the right, click New. In the dialog box that is displayed, set the parameters related to port mapping, as shown in Figure 1.
2. Click Apply. Port mapping indicates that the Intranet server is allowed to be open to the Extranet (for example, the Intranet provides the Extranet with a WWW server or FTP server). Port mapping is to map the Intranet host IP address and port ID to the Extranet IP address and the corresponding port ID so that users from Extranets can access the Intranet server. With port mapping, the users cannot see the Intranet IP address. They see the Extranet IP address. I have my custom server minecraft server on my PC, and i want to play it with my friend who lives away from me. When i had old router it worked for me, i only set port of the game(25565) and and internal IP andress, then i gave him external IP andress and he could join, but when i did the same thing on new router it didn’t work |
