Hello everyone!
Today, I'd like to share a case.
Problem Description
Product: U2000
Version: V200R018C60SPC501
Domain: IP+T+Access
Issue summary:
Cannot login the U2000 Client.
Problem Analysis
1. Login the U2000 by putty, and fin that the server response very slowly, and find that the memory and CPU resource is almost used up.
2. Further check find that, there’re only IP devices managed by this U2000, such as NE40, CX 600…, no Trans devices or Access devices managed by this U2000. And we find that many of the NE management processes are empty, and no devices belong to them
3. So we stop the useless processes to release some memory and CPU usage.
4. And we find that the TrapReceiver0101 and RouterMgrDm_1 process consume much memory usage, then restart these 2 process.
5. After the above operation, the issue restored.
Root Cause
Memory leakage for TrapReceiver0101 and RouterMgrDm_1 process cause the high CPU and memory usage of the U2000.
Solution Description
1. Please keep monitoring this issue, if the issue recur again, then try to restart the TrapReceiver0101 and RouterMgrDm_1 process on the System Monitor tool to restore this issue;
2. Suggest to undeploy the useless Trans and Access domain from the U2000 if customer doesn’t use these 2 domains;
3. Suggest to install the V200R018C60CP5012 patch, this patch will improve the memory consumption of the RouterMgrDm_1 process;
4. The V200R018C60CP5021 will be published in June, and it will improve the memory consumption of the TrapReceiver0101 process. But if customer is going to do the U2000 migration to NCE in the near further, then don’t suggest to install this patch.
5. Please suggest customer to do U2000 migration to NCE asap.
Welcome to leave a message below.
We’ll study together.
Thank you!
