Hi friend!
If you cannot log in to the IVS client, check out the following steps:

1. The password is incorrect;
2. User login upper limit maxnum;
3. The number of incorrect password attempts is too large. As a result, the user is locked;
4. Confirmed that the network was pingable;
5. Confirmed SMU was running;
6. The  firewall blocked the connection;
7. The IVS client version is inconsistent with the VCN version. As a result, the login fails.

According to your description, the hint message displayed when logging in to the IVS Client is: new version detected.

The possible cause is that the IVS client version is inconsistent with the VCN version.

what is the current version of your VCN ?

You can login the VCN OMU webpage, from main page check the current VCN version, and download/install the IVS client to be same version as VCN
