This topic describes the solution for cannot find the corresponding contact after I enter part of a number.

Solution
If you search for contacts by part of a number, follow the rules described below; otherwise, you
may fail to find the corresponding contact.
For soft terminals, mobile phones, and office phones, eSpace SoftConsole supports search by the first or last several digits of a number. If you enter some digits in the middle of a number, contact search fails. For example, 13812345678 can be searched out if you enter 138 or 678; but if you enter 234, 13812345678 cannot be searched out.
For home phones and other phones, eSpace SoftConsole supports search by the first several digits of a number. If you enter some digits in the middle or at the end of a number, contact search fails. For example, 12345678 can be searched out if you enter 123; but if you enter 345 or 678, 12345678 cannot be searched out.
