Cannot find option of MTP device - USB storage

I have Honor 6 Plus with EMUI 3.0.
Untill about two weeks before, I could select the options of USB connection with my PC as MTP device or only charging etc.
These days, this option has gone missing.
Also I cannot find this in my device's 'settings'.
If I connnect the device to my PC, it only charges, but cannot access any files. No action either on the PC or on the device.
Please help.
