You are advised to re-install DEC.
The re-installation of the DEC firmware version will renew all the files that might be missing or not working properly.
1. Download the Filezilla Client.
2. Enter at host: sftp://<IP of the decoder> and use the ssh username and password, port 22 and quick connect.
3. Drag and drop the files from the local PC where you decompressed the zip file to the remote site /tmp folder.
4. After that, follow the reinstallation procedure:
a) Decompress the decoder.zip software package and obtain the install.sh file.
b) Upload the preInstall.sh and decoder.zip files to the /tmp directory of the decoder via the SFTP tool.
c) Log in to the decoder where the software needs to be installed as the admin user and run the su - root command to switch to the root user.
d) Run the cd /tmp command.
e) Run the chmod +x preInstall.sh command.
f) Run the ./preInstall.sh 192.168.2.101 192.168.2.1 command.
NOTES:
- 192.168.2.101: Indicates the decoder IP address. You can change it based on the site requirements.
- 192.168.2.1: Indicates the decoder gateway IP address. You can change it based on the site requirements.
The system starts to install the decoder software. After the software is installed, the decoder automatically restarts. After the decoder is restarted, you can log in to the decoder web page (the default password after the service software is reinstalled is Change_Me) and check whether the decoder service is running properly.
