Can we configure ONT through the TELNET?

Hello,

Step 1: Enable the telnet function of the ONT.

Step 2: Use the command to remotely log in to the Web page of the ONT

telnet ont frame/slot/port ontid [ ont-vlan | ont-ip ]

Step 3: Configure or modify Wan port

In the navigation tree on the left, choose WAN > WAN Configuration. In the pane on the right, click New. In the dialog box that is displayed, set Mode to Route WAN, as shown in the following Figure.

Then click Apply！

Dear friend!
Only a few configurations are supported in Telnet mode. You are advised to perform the configuration in a common way, for example, logging in to the web page or TR069 mode. The telnet mode is used only by technical engineers to diagnose ONT faults.
