Can the OLT MA5680T device be able to adjust the fan speed? It's too noisy!

I want to lower the fan sound, how many commands are supported?

Hello, friend!


You can run the fan speed mode manual command to manually set the fan speed. When you need to manually adjust the fan speed level or duty cycle to ensure proper heat dissipation of the device, run this command.


Command Format

fan speed mode manual {speed-level}

fan speed mode manual speed-value {value}



Speed level of the fan in manual speed adjustment mode.

SCUB/SCUF/SCUH/SCUL/SCUN/SCUK: The fan speed level has 7 options from 0 to 6. The speed level 0 is the lowest and the speed level 6 is the highest.

MCUD/MCUD1: There are 12 fan speed levels ranging from 0 to 11. The fan speed at gear 0 is the lowest and gear 11 is the highest.


Enumerated type. Options:

SCUB/SCUF/SCUH/SCUL/SCUN/SCUK: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

MCUD/MCUD1: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11.

I have the same problem with OLT MA5800, it only has 2 control boards H901MPLA. How can I see current fan speed? What is optimal fan speed in my case?

You can run the display fan speed(fan) command to query the fan speed.
The optimal fan speed depends on the heat dissipation required by the actual temperature of the device.
If you think the fan speed is inappropriate, you can run the fan speed mode auto command to set the fan speed adjustment mode.
