I have another question.


I want to check whether the network ports of the EG8145V5 can communicate with each other. In other words, do Huawei ONTs have common features in this regard?

Hi friend.


When the LAN port of the ONT works in Layer 3 mode, the ports are isolated and cannot communicate with each other.


When the LAN port of an ONT works in Layer 2 mode, the ports communicate with each other by default. Except for a few customized ONTs, ports are isolated and cannot communicate with each other.
