Can the logical ports of a V3 storage carry IP SAN services?

Why are the logical ports of a V3 storage device unable to carry IP SAN services? Thank you.

The logical ports of V3 storage devices are used to carry NAS services instead of IP SAN services. NAS and IP SAN services use different protocols and therefore cannot be transmitted together.

Use an Ethernet port to carry iSCSI services.
