Hello, friend!

You need to log in to the ONT web page.

Click the Network Application tab and then choose QoS Configuration from the navigation tree. In the right pane, enable/disable QoS and select a QoS mode.

The HG8245W5 is a carrier product and may be customized by the carrier. In this case, contact the ISP for a solution.

For more information about the HG8245W5, click EchoLife HG8245W5

Thanks!

Yes, I saw it, friend!
I am sorry.
I think that the QoS configuration tab is unavailable due to ISP restrictions.
Since we mainly serve enterprise products, I can't help you with meaningful help.
Please contact your ISP.
If you have configuration problems or glitches, you are welcome to seek help on the forum, and we are happy to help you.
Thanks!

I have already contacted my ISP but they were unable to help. Marking as resolved for now.
Thank you again.

If possible, the ISP can enable the QoS service through the OLT, but I am not sure whether they agree. I am very sorry and thank you for your support, my friend.

Hi. I would like to limit bandwith per device on my HG8245W5 but I cannot find the QoS option or another option that allow me to do that. Could you please help me?

Hello, friend! The ONT does not support the bandwidth limit function. If you need to configure the bandwidth limit function, you can set the rate only through the DBA profile of the OLT.

Thank you for the quick response. How do I set the rate through DBA profile? I have a 200mb connection and I want to set 15mb to one device and 15mb to another device.

Hi.
Parameters related to the DBA profile need to be modified through the OLT. Since you are a home user, you can submit the request to the ISP.
