S6300 10000M port can connect to the 1000M optical module.
In V100R006C00SPC800, when the S6300 10000M port connects to a GE optical module, the port rate switches to 1000M and works in non-auto-negotiation mode. If the 10000M port connects to the 1000M optical port on the peer device, the 10000M port can become Up only when the peer device works in non-auto-negotiation mode. After the S6300 has V100R006SPH005 installed and the S6300 10000M port connects to a GE optical module, you can run the negotiation auto command to switch the port to auto-negotiation. In this case, the 10000M port can connect to the 1000M optical port in auto-negotiation mode.
In later versions of V100R006C00SPC800, when the S6300 10000M port connects to a GE optical module, the port rate switches to 1000M and works in auto-negotiation mode.
