How Can I Log In to a Switch from WIN XP?

You can use the software Putty to log in the switch.

1. Run PuTTY.
2. Select Session. Type the IP address of the management network port in the Host Name (or IP address) text box in the Specify your connection by host name or IP address area.
3. Click Open.
4. Enter the user name and password as prompted.
