can not bind the ip addre...

can not bind the ip address to the mac address.

Hi, community!

To improve the device security, we enabled the dhcp snooping and ip source check, and we want to bind a few ip address in static way, but when we input the command, it’s not accepted by the device. the device report error: the ip address’s status is error. but for other ip address, there is no problem when binding the mac address with the ip address.

any suggestions?

Are the DHCP services enabled? 

If you have enabled the DHCP server, please check the DHCP server if the IP addresses which reports the error when binding are in use. 

If the IP addresses are in use when binding them to the MAC address, the switch will report the error. You can release the leased IP and then add the static binding.

yes, you should release the ip address first, then add the static binding.
