For switches with QSFP + 40GB uplink interfaces - S6700

Can I use the QSA adapter for QSFP + 40GB interfaces and convert to SFP + 10GB? Or is it possible to use breakout and fanout cable, spliting this QSFP + interface on 4 SFP + 10GB interfaces?

Some 40GE optical interfaces can be used as independent interfaces or each can be split into four 10GE interfaces.Run the port split split-type 40GE:4*XGE command, the 40GE interface is split into four 10GE interfaces.
After configuring interface split or merge, save the configuration and restart the device to make the configuration take effect. If interface split or merge is configured on an interface, the original configuration on the interface is lost. Therefore, exercise caution when deciding to perform the interface split or merge operation.
Connection modes, optical fiber and modulwe type  for split 40GE interfaces.please refer to https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1000101619&id=dc_cfg_int_1024&text=Configuring%252520Interface%252520Split%252520and%252520Merge&lang=en

Hello,
You can convert a QSFP+ port to an SFP+ port using the Quad to Small Form Factor Pluggable Adapter (QSA).
QSA provides smooth connectivity between devices that use Quad Lane Ports (such as the 40 Gigabit Ethernet adapters) and 10 Gigabit hardware that uses SFP+ based cabling. Using this adapter, you can effectively use a QSFP+40GB module to connect to a switch  that use an SFP+10GB based module.
Yes, you can use QSFP optical cables (without a QSA) to split a 40 GB port on a switch into four 10 GB ports.
Thanks
