Can AirEngine 9700-M1 be used with AirEngine 9700-M in redundant configuration?

Hello everyone,

I has purchased one AirEngine 9700-M, and I want to purchase another one to do the redundancy, but the 9700 M has gone EoM.

Can you please advise whether the 9700 M and 9700 M1 can be used for redundancy?

Hi Rengar,
It is confirmed that 9700-M and 9700-M1 cannot support VRRP HSB or dual-link HSB. It requires exact same model. Dual-link cold backup and N+1 backup do not have this requirement.
