Can a SUN2000-450W-P Optimizer be used with a SUN2000-5KTL inverter

If we connect 450w modules to a previous generation SUN2000-5KTL can we use the optimizers designed for the current inverters SUN2000-xKTL-L1?


I understand that the inverter won't recognize the optimizers, but could they work standalone to improve production?


Any possible problems?
