Can 25G SFP port and 10G SFP port be used at the same time

Hello all,

In this switch model ce6881e-48s6cq, the datasheet says "CloudEngine 6881e-48s6cq series switches provide 24 x 10ge SFP  ports and 24 x 25ge sfp28 ports, 6 x 100ge qsfp28 ports.", also it says "CloudEngine 6881e series provides up to 48 x 10ge ports or 24 x 25ge ports", does this mean if all the 24 25g ports were used with 25g SFPs then the remaining 24 10g ports can not be used with 10g SFPs.

Hello,

Can not. When a port works at the rate of 25 Gbit/s, it supports only 1 m SFP28 high-speed cables, and these cables can only be used as stack cables or M-LAG peer-link interface cables.

When an SFP28 high-speed cable is installed on a 25GE port and the port mode 10g command is run to set the rate to 10 Gbit/s, the port supports 1 m, 3 m, and 5 m SFP28 high-speed cables.
