This post is about the camera rights configuration. Please see below for the steps on how to do it.
1. Log in to the VCM system as the admin user and choose .
2. Set the Home unit, enter the keywords in Real name and click Search.
3. Click the search result. Assign rights is displayed.
4. Assign the camera access rights to users. The rights allow users to access a personal camera or all cameras in a unit.
5. Assign the rights to access all cameras in a unit.
a) Select Authorize by unit and click Add Unit.
b) In the Add Unit dialog box, choose a unit and select Contain sub units.
c) Click Add. In the confirm dialog box, click OK.
6. Assign the rights to access a personal camera.
a) Select Personal device and click Add Device.
b) In the Add Device dialog box, select a unit and enter a camera name in Device name. Alternatively, click Search and select the required cameras in the displayed camera list.
c) Click Enable or Disable to allow users to access or prevent users from accessing a camera. In the confirm dialog box, click OK.
d) Users can select Have or None in Device rights.
