In this post, I will explain a common issue why the camera showing pink color.
Problem Description
camera display color as pink.
Problem Analysis
Need to check the color setting, when we check the customer environment and light we found the following in playback: In the morning (daylight) the image is clear, in the night( it show this red color) as above.
Solution
This means there is no good light source beside the camera therefore we go to the IPC webpage go to settings > image parameters > day/night switch, there is three option
Auto: The camera chooses the option by itself.
Color: Show the night mode in color pink as shown in the above picture.
B/W: Black and white showing the image in black and white.
Finally, after changing the camera to black and white, it shows the camera in black and white without pink color and confirmed there is no light source enough to show the camera colors.
