Hi,

A call source refers to users or incoming trunks that initiate calls. A DN (call prefix) specifies the prefix of a number dialed by a call source. A DN set refers to a set of DNs. When allocating numbers, you need to select the corresponding DN sets and call sources.

Viewing Local DN Sets

A DN set is a set of DNs (or prefixes). DN sets are classified into global and local DN sets. When you configure a prefix, you must associate the prefix with a DN set.

  1. Log in to the uPortal as the admin user and click System Configuration to access the USM sysPortal.
  2. Choose Routing > Local DN Sets and view local DN sets that have been configured.

Viewing Call Sources

A call source refers to users or incoming trunks that initiate calls. Generally, users or incoming trunks that have the same calling attributes are classified into the same call source. That is, call sources are differentiated based on attributes of the calling party, including the DN set, route selection source code, failure source code, national toll area code, and local MSC number.

  1. Log in to the uPortal as the admin user and click System Configuration to access the USM sysPortal.
  2. Choose Routing > Call Sources and view call sources that have been configured.
