Hi ,


how I can hide my core switch IP , when the user doing tracert command.


for now it is showing my core swicth IP. i want to hide it from users.

Hello,
By default, the device receives ICMP messages. You can use the undo icmp receive command to disable the device from receiving ICMP messages so that the hosts can't ping the device.

Hi dear,
First and first, we have no idea what kind of Huawei Switch series device you have. So, depending on your device, i would suggest you should apply ACL and something like this.

access-list 100 deny icmp any any traceroute
