Buss error on the XCH

Hello there!

The BUS_ERR is an alarm indicating an error in the cross-connect board bus. This alarm is reported when the cross-connect board detects an exception on the bus from the service board to the cross-connect board.

Cause 1: The service board does not match the cross-connect board in software version.

Solution: Check whether the service board matches the cross-connect board in software version; if not, perform the necessary upgrade.

• Cause 2: The service board is faulty.

Solution: Check whether the cross-connect and service boards are properly installed. If either board is installed improperly, install it properly and check whether the BUS_ERR alarm is cleared. If the alarm persists, reset the service board. After this step if alarm is still active, replace the board.

• Cause 3: The cross-connect board is faulty.

Solution: Reset the alarm-reporting cross-connect board. If the alarm persists, replace the alarm-reporting cross-connect board.

• Cause 4: The backplane bus from the service board to the cross-connect board is faulty.

Solution: Contact Huawei's technical support engineers to check whether the backplane has bent pins. Replace the backplane if it is damaged.

Hi,give you some check suggestions.
1. check thecross connect board installed probably ,if not reinsert it.
2. check thebackplane pins of the cabinet if its defected or not ,if defected ,replace the sub rack.
3. Otherwise has to swap the XCH board itself as its faulty.
