HiCoins as reward: 1 (problem unresolved)
Hello, Following a change of configuration, my modem b311-221 is connected in Bridge Mode and I can't no longer return to the administration parameters via 192.168.8.1 even using a cable to connect the computer, can you help me get out of this bridge mode?

In addition, since I received my new b311-221 modem I am unable to use the telegram application which cannot connect to the network and calls via Whatsapp. With my old one that was also a b311 it was possible. Can you help me?

Thank you very much for your help
Best regards
Thibaut

Hello, friend!

According to your description of the question, as I understand it:

After the device is set to bridge mode, WhatsApp cannot work properly because there is no network.

Suggestion:

  1. You need to set the IP address of the PC to be in the same network segment (static IP address) as the IP address of the B311-211. Then, log in to the WebUI of the device and change the bridging mode to routing (automatically obtaining an IP address) on the WebUI.

  2. Attempt to reset the device to restore the device.

Thanks!

Thank you very much for your answer.
The device is now in a normal routing mode.
I can now see and connect to the wifi with phone and computer.

Here is my second problem:
In this mode, i cant' connect telegram app and i can't call with whatsapp. It was wordking with my old device witch was the same but not this one.
A try to move many parameters in the device (that's why i try the bridge mode) but it is not working...
Have you an idea about what can be the blockage?

Thank you so much

Hi, friend!
Are you saying the device can connect to the network, but cannot make calls using whatsapp?
Generally, if the bridge mode is set, the device cannot connect to the network.
Can you provide a version of your device?
Thanks!
