HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hi there.

I have a problem with the Huawei router. Huawei HG8247H - ONT.

I have configured the Internet and cable TV on this router.

A website administered on a local computer does not have Internet access from the outside (local view only).

In contact with the internet service provider, I received information that access to the site via the Internet can be provided using Bridge mode.

This would unblock port 80 which must be open for HTTP protocol.

Can you be precise in the process of deleting the existing WAN Internet mode and establishing a new one where port 80 would be open or there is another easier way to open port 80 in the router that will be visible from the outside?

Attention: on this router, the ISP - internet service provider blocked the change of router login and password (telecomadmin: admintelecom).

Helmin Husakovic

Thanks for your help.

Hello, friend!

If you need to create a WAN in bridge mode, you only need to delete the existing WAN configuration of the route and create a WAN configuration in bridge mode.

However, if you can connect to the Internet now, you are not advised to perform this operation. After using the WAN in bridge mode, maybe you need to contact the carrier to provide the account and password for Internet access and change some configuration of upper device.

If you need to enable the external network to access the internal network, you can configure port forwarding to map external port 80 to the internal port number.

Thanks!

Thanks, but my friend that external HTTP port 80 is closed and that has been confirmed by all internet sites, for the control of open ports. by the way, ports 25 SMTP or POP3 110, can be opened without any problems. That's a problem!

You can configure port mapping based on the enabled port number. If port 80 needs to be used for mapping, enable port 80 on the peer device in advance.
