At the moment I have a problem with a basic configuration, that maybe does not work on the VRP system or is configured in another way compared to ExtremOS and IOS. The difficulty is as follows, when I try to configure a Bridge interface that would contain at a later point multiple interface to share the same IP address for dhcp functionality, there is no DHCP packet transmitted over the Bridge Member interface.

sysname Huawei

#

 drop illegal-mac alarm

#

 set cpu-usage threshold 80 restore 75

#

dhcp enable

#

bridge 1

 routing ip

#

ip pool pool1

 gateway-list 192.168.1.254

 network 192.168.1.0 mask 255.255.255.0

#

interface GigabitEthernet0/0/0

 bridge 1

 dhcp select global

#

interface Bridge-if1

 ip address 192.168.1.254 255.255.255.0

In the example the Router is connected for simplicity to a hub, if a change the configuration, in which case I do not use a bridge interface to bind an IP to the Interface, the dhcp functions perfect and IP are leased to the Clients, if the interface gets the IP by being a member of my layer 3 bridge, there is no forwarding/or something else that prevents the clients from getting an IP.

Hi,
As I checked, in the previous version (V200R010) bridge router could be able to terminate the DHCP packets using the command bridge dhcp terminate enable. You can refer to the Configuring DHCP Packet Termination.

Tried it also on a hardware appliance of mine, could it be that on 5.130 (AR1200 V200R003C00) the command is not available.
