Hi, all!

It is nice to meet you in the community!

This topic describes the BMU account management.

In the EC application system, service maintenance accounts are separated from service operation accounts, and account rights are controlled by roles.

The system administrator and common user roles exist in the BMU by default. A BMU administrator can create self-defined roles, such as the maintenance personnel and operator roles.

A BMU administrator can create accounts for different roles and assign rights to them. Users can log in to the BMU using the created accounts and perform corresponding maintenance and service operations based on their rights.

Creating a BMU Administrator Role

An administrator can create administrator accounts for managing and maintaining relevant rights.

  1. Log in to the BMU as an administrator and choose Operator Rights > Administrator Roles.

  2. Click Add.

Enter account information and select function rights.

  3. Click Add.

Creating a BMU Operator Account

An administrator can create operator accounts for managing and maintaining relevant rights.

 NOTE:

The system provides default administrator account admin whose default password is Change_Me. You can change the password of the default user but cannot delete the user. You are advised to change your password periodically to ensure account security, and passwords must meet complexity requirements.

  1. Log in to the BMU as an administrator and choose Operator Rights > Operators.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Enter operator information and password as prompted, and select the departments, gateways, and number segment ranges that the operator can manage.

  4. Click Add.

Deleting a User Account

To ensure the security of application systems, delete administrator or operator accounts that are not used.

  1. Log in to the BMU as an administrator and choose Operator Rights > Operators.

  2. Click next to the account to delete, and click OK.

Changing the Password

NOTE:

Change your password periodically to ensure account security, and passwords must meet complexity requirements.

  1. An administrator or an operator can log in to the BMU as an administrator or an operator, and click icon in the upper right corner of the BMU page to change his/her account password.

  2. An administrator can change passwords of accounts created by himself/herself, and an operator can change his/her password.

    1. Log in to the BMU as an administrator or an operator and choose Operator Rights > Operators.

    2. Click next to the account for which the password is changed.

    3. Enter the new password and click Save.
