Hi guys,


Is anyone knows how to block the USB port on the switches and firewalls from being used by people, can you please advice me what is the command to achieve this, thanks.

Hi,

The USB port on a Huawei device cannot be used for file transfer. It is used for USB-based Deployment

or automatic upgrade(for some firewall). By default, if a device has no configuration file, the USB-based deployment function is always enabled.  If t any configuration is saved,  the USB-based deployment is disabled.  And the automatic upgrade function is disabled by default too.

The commands are as follows:

[sysname]set device usb-deployment disable

[sysname]undo autoupdate enable
